"So far, anything Nioxin is the absolute best. And it helps with thinning hair, hair treated with color, etc. The spray in particular is especially good. You can spray your hair and it never looks "pasted", shellacked, whatever. Not sticky, and can be combed at night, with no residue left behind. Never sticky, always natural looking--that's the Nioxin line.
One caution,however, try to get information at a regular beauty supply house that carries Nioxin, to find out which group your hair is (1, 2, 3). This is not an easy product to just pick out of a line-up, helps to get the basic picture first as to which group for which hair type."

"I have used Nioxin for about 8 years for my short thin hair. It adds volume to my hair and you can comb through it and respray it and it's never sticky or flaky. Use the Extra Hold spray while blow drying or curling your hair since you can comb through it. Use the Power Hold as a final finishing spray because it will hold your hair exactly the way you leave it and this can get a little sticky and flaky. This hairspray is never heavy and won't weigh down your hair. It's worth the price and I can't live without it!"
