"I've been using the Nioxin line since my endocrinologist recommended it to me after my thyroid was removed for a malignant tumor 10 years ago. One of the common issues he was seeing in his practice, particularly with women, as patients were being stabilized on the correct dosage of thyroid replacement was thinning hair, and his observation of his patient base was that Nioxin worked. I'm one of those people who would probaby be straight out BALD without it!
BLISS is far and away my favorite Nioxin product, however, ESPECIALLY for my super fine hair.
It doesn't just work as a "detangler" on those mornings that I don't use the Scalp Therapy conditioner, though it's an excellent detangler. In fact, I keep a travel size bottle in my desk at the office for those days when it's windy and my hair is a mess after walking thru the parking lot. A couple of sprays, and my hair is tamed and reasonable all day.
It doesn't just "protect" my hair on those mornings that I use a blow dryer on it--which to be honest, I often don't.
My FAVORITE thing that Bliss does is "refresh" my hair between shampooing. If I'm going out after work, I spray my hair with Bliss--and voila! Freshened hair for a night on the town. Weekend bubble bath instead of morning shower--no problem, just spray the Bliss, and hair looks great all day.
It can sometimes be hard to find--which is why I order the liter size to refill my spray dispenser. Also...not every spray is good, and if you buy the liter refill, you can keep using the same spray bottle/nozzle for years. My spray bottle has the the best nozzle I've ever found, and it's three years old now. I just keep filling it up with Bliss!"

"This stuff works great! It makes your hair so easy to comb through. I have fine, long hair, so finding a product that conditions my hair without weighing it down is pretty tough. This gives your hair volume, and makes it easier to style. The first day I used it someone told me that my hair looked fuller, I was mainly just getting this product to help protect it from my blow dryer and flat iron, but it does wonders with body too!"

"Recently I bought the Volumizing Reflectives Bliss thermal protector, after a trip to the salon. My hair is quite healthy but is also thin in texture and a little bit frizzy at times. Previously I used the dove heat protector but prefer this make so much more. It has a very aromatic smell, does not weigh down my hair and is a great detangler/leave in conditioner. After when I have blow dried my hair it really has a lovely shine to it and feels very soft and manageable. It claims that it also protects the hair from environmental stressors, as well as mechanical and thermal.
I also left my hair to air dry after using this and it looked like it had more volume and very shiny too. Even though I paid £13 for it, I think it is a real investment as it will last me for ages as you only need a couple of sprays. I will try the system 1 next and will add a review."

"I am a cosmetology student (will be certified in marched and fully licensed in may!) therefore i am always going to the professional only supply store (i have a special card allowing me to shop there). i get everything at cost! i went in for some more of my big sexy hairspray and a bottle of big sexy hair big shine when i asked one of the employees which leave in conditioner/thermal protector she recommended because Big Sexy Hair doesn't make one ( i really like that line). she recommended this one and i knew nioxin makes quality products (or at least that's what my teacher said) so i picked that up as well. i haven't really used it on damp hair yet because i didn't wash yet. i have been using it on dry hair as a refresher and to protect it from the hot iron. i swear my ends look like i just got a haircut and my hair feels soooo soft and healthy, without being too weighed down. i'm really enjoying using this product and cant wait to use it before blowing out my hair! i will definitely recommend this to my clients (i get clients in class) and keep an extra bottle of it in my kit to use on people before blowouts since it isn't expensive.. they already love when i use moroccan oil..so i think they will love this as well! really nice product with a pretty good ingredient list and i will definitely repurchase!"

"This is my favorite leave in conditioner of all time. I use this on my hair after showering. Makes it easier to comb your hair through my dry fine hair. When blow drying, I can feel my hair getting softer and feels super soft. I really recommend this to fine haired girls. This does not weigh down your hair and makes it feel super soft along with controlling frizzies and fly always.
I normally use a serum after most leave in's to calm down frizzies but with this I don't need to. I do detect a subtle cherry scent but it does not last so it won't overpower your perfume. I tried using this on a day that I don't wash but I don't think it works all that well to make your hair less oily.
I bought a small bottle for about $7.00 CAD so it's cheap. I will be buying more once I run out! This has replaced my Redken color extend leave in which costs me 3X more the price of this stuff."

"I love this! This is my Holy Grail hair product. No matter what shampoo and conditioner I use in the shower, as soon as I towel dry my hair I spray some of this product in and comb through, leaving my hair to air dry. When my hair drys - WOW - suddenly my dry strands are silky smooth, bouncy, and shiny. I wish I found this product sooner but I had long been under the impression that this hair care line was soley for those with thinning hair (and my hair definitely isn't thin). I can't believe I had three full size bottles of this I got as GWP when Ulta had their grand opening here and I swapped two away without even trying it. It said for fine and thin-looking hair but then I examined closer and realized it's a leave-in conditioner. I was out of my Infusium 23 and Ion Detangler I get from Sally's so I tried this. Awesome! The quality is better than Infusium and is the same as Ion, just Ion smells better. So, I use this when I don't want the scent in my hair competing with my perfume etc. It has a nice light pleasant scent and makes my hair look great! Detangles just perfect, I have thick/course hair."

"I've been using Bliss for a little bit more than one week and I have to say this is a wonderful leave-in!!! I don't usually use leave-in because it tends to weigh my hair down ( I have colored, fine, thin hair with dry ends)but Bliss doesn't do that at all. "I bought this product primarily based on the raves here on MUA, and because so many claimed that it would be a good "refresher" product, a concept that has always fascinated me (but never worked on my hair). Alas, when I sprayed it on my hair on a no-washing day, it didn't take care of the greasiness, although it did make it a bit less limp and stringy--but only a bit.
The reason why I'm giving this 5 lippies, though, is because it's great as a leave-in conditioner. I have TR'ed hair, and sometimes I feel as though my hair doesn't have enough bounce or life to it. But with this sprayed on my roots and all over my hair, I've gotten a lot more body and spring to my hair. This definitely does not weigh hair down--it gives it life! I'm not too crazy about the smell (cherry-esque), but it wears off after a few minutes. Great price for the amount you get, too."

"I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Nixon Bliss. In case that wasn't clear, I LOVE this product.
Bliss is a leave-in conditioning spray that does not weigh down my hair or make it feel greasy, which I've found is a problem with many leave-ins.
In the past, my favorite leave-in treatment has been Sebastian Potion 9, but #9 is now going to be retired.
My current regimen is to use Nioxin Protectives cleanser followed by Nioxin Moisture and Strength conditioner. Both rinse out squeaky clean, with the former serving as a clarifying product.
After washing and conditioning my hair with the M&S, I towel dry my hair and then spray Bliss all over. I have A LOT of very thick, wavy, chemically processed hair. Four or five sprays is plenty for my hair. I then comb the Bliss through my hair and apply a touch of L'Oreal Natures Therapy heat protectant to my ends as well as Nioxin Smoothly Defined for some straightening power.
At this point, I blow dry my hair using a large round brush. My hair looks so smooth, sleek, and bouncy that I have not used my ceramic straightening iron since I started using these products in combination.
Bliss isn't particularly expensive. It runs about $8 or so, and I will definitely be repurchasing."

"This product comes in a convenient spray bottle that is not too bad on size. It costs around 7-9 dollars and you can find it with other Nixon stuff at Trade Secret or Ulta etc. It is a spray-on leave-in in conditioner. Although the Nioxin line is centered around hair loss, this has nothing to do with it necessarily and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great leave-in conditioner. I have long, straight dry hair and I have used this product on toweled dried hair. I sprayed generously and then brushed it though. It does moisturize! My hair is softer and more moist in a good way after using this product. I am sure when the bottle is empty I will buy another. I bought this after too many raves on the Hair board (thank-you!) and I am happy I did. It was exactly what my hair-routine was missing. I've heard most Nioxin products smells bad but this one does not smell bad at all!! I just gave one lippie off because I haven't tried that many leave in conditioners to compare it too but as far as I am concerned it is 5 lippies. Next time you are looking for a nice leave-in conditioner that is salon-grade without salon-price, I would suggest giving this a try."

"A great leave-in, inexpensive and easy to use. This is just an overall nice product to have handy. I have thick hair, and although it says Nioxin products are for thinning, fine hair, I don't think this is the case. I have been using this after washing my hair every night and again in the a.m. to revive it. Seems to keep my hair smelling good and looking shiny. A great find for eight bucks!
UPDATE: After using this for a week, it seems it is no longer the best leave-in for me, it's great but just too lite. However, I am keeping the 5 stars for the fact that this is the BEST between shower hair revitalizer I have ever owned..and because I use it every other day for this, I will surely buy more."

"The name says it all! This product really is Bliss! It is a leave-in reconditioner that repairs damage, adds moisture, and protects hair from heat and mechanical damage. My hair tends to get really dry, especially on the ends. This makes my hair feel incredibly moist, smooth, and airy at the same time. I use Bliss every day. I really like to spray it on my 2nd day hair because it makes my hair feel like it was freshly washed. It smooths out all traces of bedhead w/o leaving me limp. One of the conditioning ingredients also happens to be an odor neutralizer (they don't advertise it as such, but I did some research), so my hair even smells fresh when I use it.
All of Nioxin's products are tailored to contribute volume and thickness to hair, so you need not worry about their stuff ever weighing down your hair."
